Since May 2006 as the proprietor of the Oyster Silk Art Gallery, Rashmi began contributing with nearly two decades of hands-on experience in art management and gallery operations. Her role includes curating impactful art exhibitions, nurturing artistic talent, and developing unique business models tailored to the fine art market.
As a Board Member of Silk Painters International, USA, she extended her influence on the international art stage, promoting craftsmanship and cultural exchange.
Strong Academic Foundation in Corporate Law and Finance
Rashmi’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom Hons) with higher accountancy and law from the University of Calcutta, alongside Professional qualifications Degree in Corporate Law, Banking, Finance, and Securities Law from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Her legal and financial acumen equips her with the skills to navigate complex organizational and regulatory frameworks in the arts and
business sectors.

She serves as Chairperson and International Director of the Human Rights International Federation (India) and is the International Director & National Chairperson (Qatar) of the Anti-Corruption Foundation of India.
